Would soon Breast milk be on the Supermarket Isle?

Like any other day, I was listening to the NPR and this story in its marketplace (a serial) attracted my attention and infact, I was surprised by it. There are nine breast milk banks associated with non-profit Human Milk Bank Association of North America. How it works is explained in the following article. You could either read it or listen to it.
I thought, what an altruistic work in a capitalistic country! But there is a new development that I feel is atrotious. The milk banks are selling it to a company called Prolacta and they in turn are marketing it @ $3 a milliliter.
